Love this app, its definitely a daily use. Very quick to scroll through my feeds, and getting at the actual content Im after.

This is a good RSS reader and afaik is the only choice for devices on iOS 6 using the Feed Wrangler RSS service. There are some bugs with it however. One is a caching bug, which will pretty consistently "cache" articles that have already been retrieved to your device but not yet read, I hope it can be fixed. Implementation issues exist as well, it will display animated images such as GIFs but will only save 1 frame to the photo roll rather than the full image, some might consider this a bug as well. Feed Wrangler smart folder support appears tacked on as there is no option in the settings to hide feeds that appear in a smart folder so you get both the feeds and the folder on the same pane. Scrolling up and down with your thumb while reading an article only works if your finger is more to the center of the text region rather than closer to the edge like some other apps.

Only RSS reader with Sort by Unread feature, superb for workflow. Also, can be stand-alone, no rss service registration necessary. Dev is A+ and respondent.

Beautiful app. Not one glitch after regular use for months now, many moments of "ooh, well DONE," syncing beautifully via Feedbin.... awesome. Im only enough of a programmer to know that this thing is way, way out of my league!

Please optimize reeder for iPhone 6 plus, currently it looks low resolution with huge interface...

one of the features key features I really like with reeder 1 was you could import your own local rss feed list with the help of itunes. this option is now gone with reeder 2. I loved managing my own list so no worrying if the RSS service was under, like google. I still use an RSS service but I prefer not too.

I love this app. I only miss one thing: I would like to be able to watch movies in landscape mode!!!!!! Please.

In my opinion one of the best applications to read feeds, but is time to change... so update to iPhone 6 and Ill give you my 5 stars!

This app is so stubborn about refusing any kind of landscape mode, that even full-screen video playback from embedded websites cant go into landscape mode. What a disappointment. I wish they just made the previous version work properly with iOS eight, and I couldve saved myself five bucks.

Why isnt this working yet!!?? Doesnt work with Landscape video. Rotation lock isnt on. It just wont rotate. Hasnt landscape support been added for the browser?

Down to one star! Please optimize for iPhone 6 plus!!!! How can an "essential" app STILL not be optimized for the 6+. Giving my money to a developer who has the time to do so.

No iPhone 6+ support yet! Looks blocky and ugly other than that great robust App l.

Reeder was great. 2 was mostly a step in the right direction, but it just seems like nothing is happening. Id pay for a new version with updates, no question, if some of the glaring omissions were fixed. Sadly, Im looking elsewhere now.

Come on now. Paid twice for your app after updating for iOS 7. Now waiting this long for iPhone 6 optimization? Please update for bigger screen and crisp new text and my rating will go to 5 stars. Finally got the iPhone 6 update! Now the app is a true pleasure to use again.

Ive used reeder for years and I never thought it could get better. It is now updated for iOS 8, iPhone 6 and 6+. THANK YOU!

Looks wonderful and delightful to use, but I really wish it had a mark as read when scrolling through articles. The lack of this feature ruins this for me.

Update: Finally, the landscape is back! Thank you! Update: Downgraded to 2 stars - not only there is still no landscape reading and article view, but the landscape video was also removed. Im switching to Newsify since I dont want to use to readers or open images/articles/videos in Safari just to view them in landscape when needed! Original review: Im using Reeder 1 since version 1.0 and, like most Reeder 1 users I would like to see several of its features implemented in Reeder 2: landscape reading/article viewing (e.g. pictures); go directly to unread items by pressing on the number of unread on the right of the feed/group of feeds, etc. One other important omission is the lack of a straight upgrade path from Reeder 1. I would also like to see support for Diggs reader. Until these are fixed, Im afraid that Reeder 1 will remain mine main reader.
